I like to think that the whole mother base had a huge wild party while boss, kaz, and ocelot were gone. and I mean wild, like drugs, sex, and chaos. And Kaz’s face when he comes back.

Let’s be honest, in the old MSF days, Kaz would’ve been the one to organize that party. At Diamond Dogs though… he’d just yell at the soldiers and shake his crutch menacingly at them.

Ocelot, being the cool cat he is, offers Snake a special cigar and advices him to share it with Miller as it “might help that mettlesome subcommander of yours gather himself after that pointless explosion earlier.”

And that’s how Snake and Kaz end up getting stoned – Kaz much more so than Snake – and Ocelot sneaks into their room at the crack of dawn to open the windows because those damn herbs are amazing but the smell lingers for hours and there’s no way someone from the botanical team wouldn’t notice if they walked past the room.
