Since the fatal shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota, people across the nation have been protesting police-related killings of blacks. Activists in the Black Lives Matter movement vowed to continue with their protests and said it was unfair to connect their peaceful demonstrations with the recent shootings of police officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge. There have been at least 111 protests since July 5.
