Alfredo Bowman, better known as Dr Sebi, was a herbalist and naturalist of alternative medicine from Honduras.

But Big Pharma is nothing but a business and they don’t want to admit that a Black man created a cure to the disease they invented to make money from. What’s worse is that the “newly engineered antibody that kills off 99% of HIV strains” probably causes kidney failure or something as a side effect so that Big Pharma aka healthcare can make even more money.

I am so fucking angry

dr.sebi did not cure anything.

he was a charlatan who practiced without a license in the state of NY, and peddled his suppliments while claiming that hiv was located in mucus, and removing mucus would “cure” people.

he was no hero

He lost the lawsuit.

He was in police custody, because he was arrested trying to board a plane with 37,000$ cash after being released on money laundering charges.

He died of complications of pneumonia at 83 years old.

The lawsuit required him to take 3 ads run consecutively, offering a refund to anyone who bought his shoddy suppliments on the grounds that he made false claims to what they would cure.

He did not “prove” the efficacy of his suppliments because his claims were incorrect, there is no such thing as “cellular detoxification” medically.

You geeks need to stop immediately believing someones bullshit just because they tell you the government is trying to hide the truth from you.

Its snake oil salesmen 101

and surprise surprise, the guy claiming wild medical cures, claimed to win the lawsuit as well.

“Sometimes you think of bravery in the stereotypical way, maybe in the superhero way of fighting bad guys or jumping from buildings, and I think some of the bravest things to do are the simplest, like honesty. You know? Like for me, Valkyrie, in the movie for example, is not brave because she can fight people bigger than herself. I think she’s brave when she decides to acknowledge the things in her past that really hurt her. When she decides to confront them, you know? That, to me, those are the bravest moments of hers.” – Tessa Thompson (x)

know your history

Columbus Delano, foresaw that if the bison were extinct, the Indians in the Great Plains would have to surrender to the reservation system.” Colonel Dodge said in 1867, “Every buffalo dead is an Indian gone,” and Delano wrote in his 1872 annual report, “The rapid disappearance of game from the former hunting-grounds must operate largely in favor of our efforts to confine the Indians to smaller areas, and compel them to abandon their nomadic customs.”
